Position:  

  • The National is currently seeking a PM Custodial Supervisor.  This position is the lead custodian on a team and will be required to oversee all custodial/housekeeping duties within a particular facility or on a particular team. 

Preferred Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must possess strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with customers and team
  • Previous working experience as a custodial supervisor for a minimum of two years
  • Must have a proven track record of supervising nd training personnel
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proven housekeeping and hospitality experience
  • Must have flexibility of work schedule to include long days and weekends
  • Duties of this position will be conducted in a professional environment

Reports to:  Director of Housekeeping, Director of Operations, Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises custodial staff as duties are being performed.
  • Responsible for assigned daily operations and duties within the Housekeeping Department.
  • Stocks and maintains supply rooms.
  • Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services.
  • Oversee the return of keys and radios at the end of the shift.
  • Oversee proper use of equipment.
  • Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards.
  • Follow all of The National’s safety and sanitation policies.
  • Provides training to new staff.
  • Assists guests with questions and basic requests.
  • Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional.
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and/or overtime.
