- We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will complete general accounting tasks, general ledger entries, invoice processing, purchase order reconciliation, daily deposits, process AR invoices, and other accounting tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Hotel experience strongly preferred
- No less than two years previous working experience in accounting
- Experience in computer operations and basic knowledge in Excel, Word, and PDF
Reports to: Staff Accountant
- Balance and post daily general ledger entries
- Record revenues balanced to ledgers
- Processes all department invoices.
- Audits invoices for correct cost codes, extensions and use tax. Match up with P.O.
- Matches up checks for payment.
- Completes daily deposits.
- Balances credit cards daily with senior accountant help if needed.
- Review accounts receivable for invoices and/or payments
- Process AR invoices
- Maintains coin change machines and change orders.
- Major portion of work is performed at a desk and/or computer terminal.
- Follows NCC’s policies and procedures and safety policies.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager
- Must be able to follow policies and procedures accurately.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
- Must have professional appearance and manner.
