  • Consideration for The National Conference Center’s distraction free environment and the comfort of all our guests and employees requires us to enforce a strict No Pet Policy. Except for service animals, no pets or animals are allowed in any guestroom, meeting room, or interior public space.

    If a service animal is required during your stay, we ask that you please inform our front desk team prior to your arrival to ensure advanced arrangements are made. Please email our front desk team at reservation@conferencecenter.com.

  • Yes. The National is an ideal location because of our flat surfaces, elevators, and access to ADA guest rooms, all ballrooms and conference rooms.

    —Accessible guest rooms with mobility features have doorways that provide 32” of clear width

    —Accessible guest rooms with mobility features have roll-in showers, railings and shower bench

    —Hotel has a TTY for guest use

  • The National offers complimentary parking in our parking garage. The parking garage is conveniently located across from our front desk entrance.

    Additional parking is available for larger events and is coordinated with our on-site security team.

  • Our team can help coordinate transportation through our preferred partner who provides shuttles to and from the conference center upon request. Transportation services can be provided for arrivals, departures, group excursions, & more.

  • Yes, The National offers an on-site fitness center available 24/7 for all guests.

    The fitness center is equipped with cardio machines, free weights, a built-in strength training circuit, and a yoga studio. Private yoga and fitness classes can bee coordinated for your group.

  • Yes, The National is conveniently located near three major airports:

    Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)—14 Miles, 20 Minutes

    Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)—35 Miles, 45 Minutes

    Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)—70 Miles, 1 Hour and 20 Minutes

  • Yes, Black Olive Bar & Grill is located in the North Building on the 2nd floor and has a large draft list, 16 screens, billiards, darts, and The National Secret private lounge.

    Black Olive Bar & Grill is open to the general public.

    Hours may fluctuate based on business needs and private events. Please call prior to visiting to confirm our hours.

  • Check-in begins at 5:00pm. Our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day to accommodate late arrivals.

  • Check-out is 1:00pm.

    If your program continues beyond 1:00pm, The National’s front desk can happily store your luggage until your departure.

  • Smoking of any kind is NOT permitted inside the building.

    Designated smoking areas are available at various exterior locations. A member of our team is happy to direct you towards these locations.
